This is the 15 "section Balistik Blabber", and in case you just joined the stream, I'm your host wrestling game, offering a wonderful and sometimes terrible memories, the former WWE star again the look! To my regular readers, thanks again for all the support! Your suggestions in this article are always appreciated!
I promised something "terrible" for the article in this week. . . and after researching the history of this kind, I am pleased to say that is more than "cool", which could very well be EPIC. I bring a truck to grace the ring quicker.
Mike Awesome!
Today we see lots of "power" wrestlers do a lot of "power" moves like Chokeslams close the sidewalk and powerbomb. Unfortunately, most of them only adhere to these movements that cause critics to label Joe-"5-moves" fighter or something. Then we have Michael Lee Alfonso ~
The cousin and childhood friend of Horace Hogan, Michael and Hilary have been impressed by the success of Uncle Horace Hulk Hogan during the 1980s. Before continuing, I just want to point people seem to think on this subject in grade 2 makes Mike and Hulk Hogan related, but too bad, you decide ~ After training under Steve "Doink 2" Keirn, is Steve began wrestling in Pro Wrestling Federation (PFW) in 1989. After that, he fought for the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) during a certain time and suddenly had a great opportunity that appears in the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) for the first time. . .
A fighter!
As for the "professional" has served, but the point is irrelevant. The following year (1990 to those who are not doing the math), Mike went to Japan to work for Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling (FMW)! He used the name "Gladiator" and began to paint his face on the gadget.
At 6 feet 7 inches, this guy was a sight to see in Japan! Even more surprising, it's fast! He could run, he could go, he does not even planks and rope maneuvers! In this way, has had an impact on the business! He will begin his rivalry with the rock monster head Masato Tanaka of Japan and carries on the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW)! Working between FMW and ECW 1990 to 2000, earned his first major title victories. These include "FMW Brass Knuckles Tag Team Championship" in collaboration with Rick "Big Titan" Bogner in 1993, then "FMW Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Championship against none other than the company performance in 1995 HAYABUSA! After the match, both fighters hugged and demonstrate respect for others, a true classic. . . and now his mission to find and watch the game on YouTube! It will be worthy of his confidence and I ~
Mike has been forced to leave the title due to injury, but later left in 1996. In a major victory Kanemura W * GN later this year, unified by "FMW Independent Heavyweight Championship, making him a double champion belt! The guy was in flames, said the "FMW World Street Fight 6-Man Tag-Team Titles" in his record the next year and make it a triple champion belt!
Just a random story during his stay in Japan he had trouble with the Yakuza! For those unfamiliar with the "Yakuza" is a Japanese version of the "Sicilian Mafia" or "Chinese Triads. It happened in a show where some FMW Yakuza beat his friend Sabu (!) And makes the save. This forced Mike and the rest of FMW foreign talent to hide in their closets because the other members of the Yakuza are waiting to do bad things to them in the hallway! Fortunately, a veteran Atsushi Onita FMW has been able to grant safe passage out of the sand and safety!
Shortly after the fall of the RT, Mike returned to ECW (1998) for his second round, with Masato Tanaka to continue his fight from hell. Each man picking up the victory after any other party who had apparently neither would be the clear winner. . . Until this year, "August Heat Wave" PPV where Tanaka deserved victory at the end of the second round of Mike ECW. It would be his 3rd time with ECW going to win the first prize in a caller baba a 3-way dance. The fight against Taz and Tanaka, Mike would end the assault with his signature "AWESOME BOMB" on Tanaka to become the "ECW Heavyweight Championship" in 1999! Gold continues to flow with the attainment of the ECW World Tag Team Titles in 2000 with Raven! It seemed that everything was the way Mike until the faithful in April 2000. . . Mike jumped ship to WCW when he was still ECW champion, causing between 2 companies Mayhem! Before things got ugly with legal jargon, a compromise was reached, and Mike Awesome relinquished his title of Taz and continued with the CMM, leading to one of their most embarrassing. . . "The Fat Chick Thriller" and then later. . . "That 70's Guy". . . I skip the details, but it would be a "just" look at his career so instead I will summarize: These two things were "more or less" in relation to its "neutral". Fortunately, being the great fighter he is, managed to put up these amazing games gadgets. These games include a tooth with Vampiro and Insane Clown Posse. Other highlights of this era in which Hulk Hogan would be incredible bombed through a table (really, not many people have had to do) and when released Chris Kanyon off the first level of three level steel cage. Oh yeah, did I mention that "That 70's Guy" has a talk show segment called "Lava Lamp Lounge"? Check this one, it seems that the shame. "
After almost a year to have these things, he finally gave up and became "The murderer of his career." Of course, you get the point just by reading those three words? Came changed to "The Canadian Career Killer" when he joined the Canadian team with Lance Storm and Elix Skipper (I miss these guys …). Together they did great, except once when Mike lost to Konnan in a "hair vs. hair match, which cost him his smooth ~ In 2001, WCW was eventually acquired by World Wrestling Federation (oh That's the word NOT said!) and officially attached to the largest company in the country's struggle. He was placed on the 'invasion hypothesis' and finally won his first title, "WWF Hardcore Title" (for garnish), when he was attacked Rhyno who had just beaten the proof of that belt. This was the only decent thing he had to push until he lost the title to Jeff Hardy. Not content with the way you handle things completely livid and WWF, with strong inter politics racks, was highly (no pun) delighted when he was fired. After the launch, Mike returned to India, appearing even in the Total Nonstop Action (TNA), then for "Major League Wrestling (MLW) in 2003. Here MLW became champion for 10 minutes after beating the All Japan Pro Wrestling's (AJPW) Satoshi Kojima. It was not until 2 years later they again face his old rival Tanaka, 1 "One Night Stand" PPV. Although Joey Styles and some of the fans seem to hate him for his past actions, people are still encouraging men and a standing ovation upon their arrival: Awesome Tanaka bombing at a table outside the ring, followed by D 'Grilled deep and PIN .
The following year, 2006, Michael Alfonso announced his retirement from professional wrestling. I wanted to be with his family and said the only thing that could bring him back into the ring was a payment "decent," he says, it rarely gets. It seemed a very good end to a career-high iron octane. . .
Unfortunately, February 17, 2007, Michael was found dead at his home in Tampa, Florida. He is 42 years old and leaves behind his wife and two children. Why should it end this way, we may never know, but wherever he is, I can assure you it is still as great as it was when I was in the wrestling ring that gives us great entertainment!
Thanks Mike. . . rest in peace!
Thanks for reading and I'll Tote the next issue of Balistik Blabber "to see the former WWE talent will remember!
