The Smart Car in America

Smart is a subsidiary of Daimler AG that creates the “smart” model, a two or four seat vehicle that is aimed especially for urban use. The first Smart vehicles were produced by the Swatch Swiss watch manufacturer.

They wanted a very small car that could be easy to drive and park in the crowded European cities. They also wanted the car to be cheap enough for young people to afford it. From 2006 onward, all the Smart models are being created and sold by the Mercedes-Benz automobile group, while intended as a cheap and affordable mini, the Smart was too expensive for young people and it became somewhat as a fashion statement. There are several Smart models sold: the Fortwo, the Forfour and until 2005 there was a cabriolet model.

In many parts of Europe the Smart, especially the Fortwo model (as its name implies, it can carry only two passengers) was a success, while the Fortwo model was taken out of production recently. However, many people are asking if the Smart car could become a success in America, the home country of full size SUVs and powerful V-8 engines.

Until recently, the Smart models could not be imported legally in the US as they did not meet the American emissions regulations. All of the models that could be found on the market were modified so they could pass the emissions tests.

However, the Mercedes-Benz automobile group has developed new engines for their 2008 model, so it could be sold throughout the world. The question remains though if the US market is ready for the Smart car.

Its supporters say it is the best city car in the world, as it is only 106. 1 in long and it can be parked almost anywhere in the city center. Its small engine is powerful enough for urban needs, however it lacks the power for long highway cruises. The smart car has a titanium structure, making it the safest mini car on the market.

However, there are people that say the Smart has poor value as it has several disadvantages. First, it can only carry two people (the driver and a single passenger), while some of its competitors car carry five people in full comfort. In the same time its relatively short wheelbase (73. 5 in) means that the smart car is very uncomfortable, especially on poor roads. The first models were also speed limited, as they could become unstable as high speeds. However, the 2008 model is safer, more comfortable and fun to drive.

Its critics say that despite its 1L engine, the smart car does not boost a significant fuel economy and the Toyota Prius offers significantly lower fuel consumption, especially around town.

However, the Toyota Prius is a hybrid model and among the non-hybrids, the smart car has been declared the most fuel efficient car in the U. S. in the Federal Government’s 2008 Fuel Economy Guide. The smart car can be a very fun car to drive, especially if you do not consider being in such a small car a major inconvenience.

Matches From the Mind Vol. 8

Welcome back everybody to the world’s most famous arena, the REM arena in the mind of Mordecai, and tonight we have an epic Wrestlemania rematch on hand. In the finals of the Jim Johnston Cup we will see The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels take on the Texas Rattle Snake Stone Cold Steve Austin. This match doesn’t need much introduction so let’s get started. Ring the bell! The match starts off with these meeting each other in the middle of the ring. They get in each other’s face and exchange words. Michaels shoves Austin. Austin smiles, and then knocks down HBK with a right hand. Shawn gets back to his feet, but Austin keeps on the offense with a kick to the midsection, followed by some punches that force his opponent into the corner. Austin throws in some more punches, and then stomps his opponent while they’re standing in the corner. The ref steps between the competitors, and makes Austin back up. When the ref moves aside he walks back towards the corner, but he’s met with a knife-edge chop from Michaels. He lays in a few more until they’re in the middle of then ring, and then Michaels tries to whip Steve into the ropes, but he reverses it. Stone Cold bends over for a back body drop, but HBK flips over into a sunset flip. Austin rolls through, stands up, grabs Shawn’s legs, and configures them for a Texas Cloverleaf. However, before Austin can turn the Showstopper over; Michaels rolls it into a small package. 1. . . 2. . . kick out. They get up, and Austin is quicker on the draw, as he delivers a knee to Michaels mid section. He body slams him, and then bounces off the ropes, and delivers his elbow drop with theatrics. Austin covers, but it’s only a two. He brings his rival to their feet, and throws them into the ropes. On the rebound he’s hit with a back elbow. Michaels recovers in the corner. Austin meets him there, and delivers some stiff blows before lifting him onto the top turnbuckle. He gets in position for a superplex, but Shawn fights back. HBK delivers repeated blows to Stone Cold’s gut, and then pushes him to the mat. The Showstopper leaps for an elbow drop, but Austin moves. Both men are slow getting back to their feet. Austin is up first, and he meets HBK with a clothesline, followed by another, and then one more. After the last one he lifts Michaels by a leg, and drops him throat first on the top rope. The attack causes Michael’s to bounce back into the opposite corner. He manages to stand up, and as Austin charges at him he blocks it with a back elbow. With out hesitating he utilizes a chop block on the heavily braced knees of his opponent. Michaels takes hold of the leg, and pulls on it in various directions. Afterwards he slams the leg into the mat. HBK takes a moment to work the crowd while Stone Cold tries to get back to his feet. While Steve is using the ropes for support Shawn comes up from behind and kicks the injured leg out from underneath Austin. Shawn then takes the leg, applies a spinning toe hold, then puts the legs in the shape of a four for a devastating Figure Four Leg Lock. The hold has Stone Cold screaming in pain. Austin reaches desperately for the ropes, but they are ever so slightly out of reach. Finally, Austin musters up the strength to get close enough to the ropes. Shawn breaks the hold, and goes right back to the leg. Austin manages to kick him off though. Michaels gets right back up, and charges Austin, but The Rattle Snake executes a hip toss on Michaels. He quickly commences to stomping the hell out of The Heart Break Kid. He brings him up to his feet. Stone Cold throws him into the ropes, and hit’s a spine buster. It may not have been the wisest move choice though, as it leaves Austin on the ground holding his knee. Austin makes his way to the corner, and pulls himself up. Michaels is in the opposite corner holding his back. The Rattle Snake walks towards Shawn with bad intentions. In an act of desperation HBK leaps on Austin at the last moment, and begins laying in closed fist punches to the opponent’s head. Austin manages to roll them over, placing himself on top, and delivers punches of his own. Shawn then rolls back on top for some punches. Austin rolls them once more, but they spill outside the ring. Both men are laid out on the floor. Michaels pulls himself up on the apron, while Stone Cold uses the table for support. The Heart Break Kid starts toward his rival, but he’s cut off. Austin charges him, and forces him back first into the side of the ring. From there Austin lays in some punches to Shawn’s head. He brings him away from the ring apron, and whips him into the steel steps, causing Michaels to flip over them onto the other side. Austin takes a minute to catch his breath, and then hobbles over to his opponent who is still on the floor. As he goes to pick HBK up by his head, The Showstopper pushes him, back first, into the steel steps. Shawn gets up, and removes the top part of the steps. He brings Stone Cold on to the broad flat surface of the steps, and places his head between his legs. Before Michaels can bring him up for a piledriver though, Austin flips him onto the floor. Trying to ignore the pain in his leg, he walks over to the announcer’s table. He grabs a cable, and wraps it around Michaels’ throat, releasing before he would be disqualified. He tosses the Heart Break Kid to the ground. The ref is yelling at Austin to bring it in the ring, but he just flips off the referee. He then grabs a chair. As he’s walking towards Shawn; Stone Cole brings the chair over head, but Michaels kicks him in the injured knee, causing Austin to fall to the ground. HBK walks to the ring apron, still holding his back. He climbs up on the apron to get back in the ring, but he’s stopped when Austin grabs his tights. He manages to kick Austin lose, which sends him stumbling back towards the announcer’s table. Shawn then bounces off the second rope, and does a springboard moonsault on The Bionic Redneck. Both men are down. Neither one is moving much. They are both trying to make it back to the ring. After a while of struggling, they both manage to get back in the ring, though neither one is on their feet. They go to opposite corners to try and get their breath. Feeling he needs to capitalize on his weakened opponent, Stone Cold makes his way towards the Showstopper’s corner. Michaels comes blasting out with a super kick, but Austin ducked it. When Shawn turns around Austin tries for a kick to the mid section, but HBK catches it, and executes a dragon whip. Following his opponent down, Michaels doesn’t release the leg. Instead he places it between his shins, jumps, and lands on it. Still holding the leg Shawn turns Austin over, and then lifts the knee and slams it into the mat. Shawn goes to apply another figure four, but Austin pushes Michaels into the ropes. When he comes back, Austin reaches up for a small package. 1. . . 2. . . kick out. They get up, and Austin tries to kick again, but Michaels catches it and takes him down by sweeping his other leg. From this position HBK locks on his inverted Figure Four. Austin is once again screaming in pain. The torment is excruciating, and you can see it on Stone Cold’s face. Austin’s hand hovers just above the mat, ready to tap at any second. But the Texas Rattle Snake grit his teeth, and reaches for the ropes. Using every ounce of strength he has left he drags himself to the ropes, and grabs hold of the bottom rope. Shawn releases the hold, and backs up per the referee’s orders. As Shawn walks over to Austin, the Rattle Snake grabs the front of Michaels’ tights, and pulls him face first into the turnbuckle. Suddenly, Austin gets a second wind. He gets to his feet, and tries to ignore the pain in his leg. As Michaels gets up he’s met with a big right hand from Austin. It’s followed by two more, Stone Cold flips him off, and then floors him with another one. Austin bounces off of the ropes, and leaps on Michaels with a Lou Thesz Press, with punches added for flavor. Austin gets up, barely noticing the pain. He gets on the second rope, and leaps, planting a pointed elbow into the heart of Michaels. He covers, 1. . . 2. . . kick out. He brings his opponent up, and whips him into the ropes. Michaels ducks a clothesline, and comes off the ropes with a flying forearm. He kips up, and plays to crowd a little. Michaels’ come back is cut short though, as he goes to throw a punch at Austin, but he ducks it, and locks in the Million Dollar Dream. An old move from Stone Cold’s Ringmaster days. Shawn flails about wildly in the hold, reaching for the ropes. Before he can reach them Austin throws him down. Shawn is quick to recover, but is met with a clothesline. Austin tries to throw HBK into the ropes, but it’s reversed. On the rebound Michaels catches Austin with a Manhattan drop. He follows up with a dropkick to the knee. Shawn ends the sequence with an enziguiri to a kneeling Austin. He covers, 1. . . 2. . . Steve kicks out. He brings Austin to his feet, just so he can body slam him back down. Shawn goes up top again. He leaps for an elbow drop, but Austin, not having the energy to move out of the way, pulls his knees up. It stopped the elbow drop, but may have done just as much damage to Austin’s legs. Austin tries to gut out the pain, and uses the ropes to get to his feet. HBK, holding his arm, stumbles over to a waiting Austin. Stone Cold delivers a kick to the mid section, but instead of following up with the Stunner immediately afterwards he holds his leg for a moment. He then wraps his arms around Michaels’ neck, but The Showstopper pushes him off into the ropes. When he comes he’s met with Sweet Chin Music, and covered, 1. . . 2. . . 3! HBK wins. Well folks it seems that working over Austin’s leg really paid off in the end, as it was the brief distraction that cost Austin the match, and the Jim Johnston Cup. Shawn has had three matches in the REM arena, more than anyone else, and won two of them. I think that makes him the number one contender to Kane’s REM World Championship, so look for that soon. Speaking of which, next week I will be naming the first ever REM World Tag Team Champions. All I can say right now is that one of the teams will be. My latest Hall Of Fame inductees, The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal. Well it’s been fun, now, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!

World Cup 2006 Preview - Trinidad & Tobago

Outright Odds: 1500/1
Group B Winners: 50/1
Trinidad & Tobago will be looking to cause a few upsets after qualifying for the World Cup finals for the very first time at the eleventh attempt. The ‘Soca Warriors’ beat Bahrain 2-1 across a two-legged play-off to reach Germany but also beat Mexico, ranked seventh in the world, along the way.
Dennis Lawrence headed in the decisive goal in Bahrain but it was the final North, Central American and Caribbean Zone group match against the 40/1 (Bet365) Mexicans that will be best remembered.
Trinidad & Tobago needed a win in order to beat Guatemala to the precious play-off spot but fell a goal behind and even missed a penalty before a Stern John double turned the match around to ensure a fourth-placed finish in the group.
Bustling striker John will play in attack with veteran striker Dwight Yorke. The former Manchester United and Aston Villa striker is nearing the end of his career and will be 35 in Germany. He came out of international retirement in 2005 to give it one last go, and although he is no longer the same player who helped United to complete their magnificent treble in the 1998/99 season, qualification is the final reward for a long and frustrating career for his country.
Yorke was part of the team that almost qualified for the 1990 finals and needed just a point against the USA to book a place in Italy. However, the United States scored a last-gasp winner to qualify themselves at Trinidad & Tobago’s expense.
Manager Leo Beenhakker, formerly of Holland, Real Madrid and Ajax has worked wonders for this tiny country with a population of just 1. 3 million - the smallest competing nation in the finals. He has managed to get the best out of a limited pool of players, many of which play at a low standard for the clubs.
However, there is a strong “British contingent” that will make watching Trinidad & Tobago interesting for UK audiences. As well as Yorke and John, the starting XI includes Kelvin Jack (Dundee), Brent Sancho (Gilklingham), Marvin Andrews (Rangers), Dennis Lawrence (Wrexham), Chris Birchall (Port Vale), Kenwyne Jones (Southampton) and Carlos Edwards (Luton).
Being thrust onto the world stage is a big ask for some of the players but they need to look at Jamaica in the 1998 World Cup for inspiration. If they can beat either England, Sweden or Paraguay, that would go down as the country’s greatest result in history.
BetBonus. co. uk Recommendation:
Trinidad & Tobago’s best chance of success could come in the final group game. If Paraguay are out of the reckoning, Trinidad & Tobago could battle their way to a draw at tempting odds.

Which Car Makes and Models Are Most Likely to Be Stolen?

According to NICB officials, older cars often get stolen as parts of these cars become extremely rare and tough to come across in due course of time, of which thieves take full advantage. These vehicle thieves are extremely intelligent as they keep themselves updated with the latest trends and demands in the vehicle market, targeting the most popular vehicles and influencing and indulging in illegal export of stolen vehicle parts. The following is the list of top ten cars stolen: * 1995 Honda Civic * 1989 Toyota Camry * 1991 Honda Accord * 1994 Dodge Caravan * 1994 Chevrolet Full Size C/K 1500 Pickup * 1997 Ford F150 Series * 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup * 1990 Acura Integra * 1988 Toyota Pickup * 1991 Nissan Sentra Vehicle Theft and the Impact it has on your Auto Insurance Premium. According to Lou Geremia, president of Insurnace. com, auto insurance rates are determined by companies in relation to the industry’s loss history. Vehicles which are faced with a higher risk of getting stolen thus have higher insurance rates. Many companies however, provide their customers with automatic antitheft devices, which help to cut down on the insurance rates when it comes to these car makes and models. Tips to Help Guard Your Wheels. The NICB encourages everyone to adopt the ‘layered approach’ and make respective cars less attractive to thieves by maintaining a low profile for cars and not being flashy in general. The four layers of protection are as follows: Layer #1 - Common Sense. Always leave your car locked, even if you park for a very brief period of time. Layer #2 - Warning Device. Having audible and visible proofs for your car being well protected is another way of warding off thieves. Popular second layer devices include: * Audible alarms * Steering column collars * Steering wheel/Brake pedal lock * Brake locks * Wheel locks * Tire locks/Tire deflators * Theft deterrent decals * Identification markers in or on vehicle * Window etching * Laminated glass Layer #3 - Immobilizing Device. You must try and avail a device which prevents bypass ignition and hot-wiring of the vehicle. While some electronic gadgets function through computer chips in the ignition keys, others prevent the flow of fuel to the engine by virtue of having some secret button. Recommended third layer devices include: * Smart keys * Fuse cut-offs * Kill switches * Starter, ignition and fuel disablers Layer # 4 - Tracking Device. Vehicle-tracking device is the best possible tool you can have while trying to battle vehicle thieves. The tracking system sends off signals to the local police station or monitoring station whenever reported stolen. Tracking devices like OnStar always help in the recovery of stolen vehicles. Take action. If by chance your vehicle does get stolen, you will want to contact your local police department immediately. Make sure to have the following information on hand: When contacting the police department becomes necessary on account of car makes and models having been stolen, ensure that you have the following information at hand: * Year, make, model, and color of your car * Your license plate number * VIN (Make sure to have your VIN number in a file or secure spot. ) * Approximate time when the car was stolen * Location where the car was parked * Names of eye witnesses, if any Next you will be required to get in touch with your insurance company, which will consider your claim only when you hand over your policy number and details of the incident to your auto insurance agent. When car makes and models are stolen, it usually takes an insurance company about 30 days to settle the stolen vehicle claim.

Austria vs. Croatia

Vienna, Austria 05. 23. 2006

Although Austria did not qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Germany, the National Team is still playing friendly matches to give continuity to the National squad and give opportunity to young players to demonstrate their skills in the international scenario.

One of those friendly matches will take place on May 23rd when they face Croatia in home soil, as part of the programmed FIFA dates for the teams to prepare for the World Cup.

Austria was in group 6 of the European zone, a very hard group that counted with the presence of England and Poland, which were the two, teams that qualified to Germany 2006.

Austria has a great canter of young players that given the continuity needed might accomplish great things in the future for their country.

Now other story awaits for Croatia a team that is qualified to the World Cup and will use this match up against Austria to give the final tune up to their squad before the World Cup Starts.

This will be their third successive appearance to the final stage of the tournament since they are an independent country. Croatia finished on top of the qualifying round in group 8 from the Europe zone.

In teams news Croatia’s coach Zlatko Kranjcar announced on Friday an expected 24-man squad for the FIFA World Cup in Germany next month where he said he hoped his team would reach the second round at least.
“I earlier said I would pick the players who carried the burden of qualifying so I’ve had a pretty clear picture of who to choose for some time,” Kranjcar told a news conference.
In the group stage Croatia faces Brazil, Australia and Japan and Kranjcar said he saw his team progressing. “I can feel a great team spirit in the squad and I think we’re well capable of doing it,” he said. As we see the Croatian team is very motivated toward the start of the World Cup and is a team that can give big surprises if they keep playing like they did in the qualifying round.

Most sports books will have lines for these friendly matches that might not be as exciting as the World Cup matches but still is a chance for the sports betting fans to track the progress of their favorite teams.

Cialis Western Open

July 6th- 9th Cog Hill G&CC, Lemont, Illinois

Live on XM 146/USA/ABC

Purse: $5,000,000

Last Champion: Jim Furyk

The Cialis Western Open, conducted by the Western Golf Association, has a history unparalleled by all but one golf championship in the United States. First held in 1899, the Western Open is the oldest championship on the PGA TOUR and the second oldest professional golf championship in the nation. Only the U. S. Open, first conducted in 1895 by the United States Golf Association, is older.

When the PGA TOUR professionals come to Chicago each year to compete in the Cialis Western Open, they are following in the hallowed footsteps of golf’s all-time greats. Past champions include golf’s greatest legends, including Chick Evans, Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The past two decades have seen Tom Watson, Hale Irwin, Tom Weiskopf, Ben Crenshaw, Nick Price and Tiger Woods add their names to the Western Open’s J. K. Wadley Cup’s impressive roster of champions.

Today, the Western Open is considered the founding event of the PGA TOUR. Much has changed since 1899, including the prize money. This year’s 102nd Western Open purse totals $5 million, with the winner earning $900,000. In the Western Open’s initial year, the total purse was $150, with the winner earning $50.

On last year’s tournament Furyk , after finishing second three times last year, including a devastating loss the previous weekend, Furyk against all Sportsbook odds answered Woods’ charge with three straight birdies and hung on to win the Cialis Western Open. It was his 10th PGA TOUR victory and the first since the 2003 Buick Open. After tapping in for a birdie, Furyk took off his cap and shook hands with third round co-leader Ben Curtis. Furyk then turned and pumped his fists to the cheering crowd before sharing a long hug with caddie Fluff Cowan.

“You take the combination of last week, surgery and not winning since surgery, you put all that together and it was an emotional win,” said Furyk, who missed half of last year after having wrist surgery. http://www. wagerweb. com/sportsbook

The Play With Plague: TNA Report For 06/11/09

Foley Fires up Founder Well the big thing this week is the qualifying match between Kurt and Sting. They’re hyping it up a lot. But I’m liking what TNA has been doing, they’re picking up a lot of big names. Most recently, Raven, Stevie, and Shane Douglas, and of course Tazz when he comes out. But now, some other people are being rumored. Mr. Kennedy and Umaga once their no compete clauses are out. Possibly Burke, Mysterio may be leaving WWE soon, so that’d be sweet, and. . . could it be? Please? The whole damn show, ROB VAN DAM!!! TNA is trying to get in contact with him too, which would be huge. If he joins the MEM, and faces Tazz?!? Holy [ beep ]. Anyway. . . We start off with Mick and his security. When he took the job, he knew there would be tough times. Even though he knows eventually someone will take his title, but Jeff took something that Mick never thought he would lose. . . his smile. He brings out Jeff for a hard decision. After the assault on Hebner last week, Jeff is fined and suspended without pay from TNA. Mick says it can either go the easy way or the hard way, and JJ chooses the hard way. The security takes him down, but Jarrett counters a double team and takes down security, with the help of a chair. Foley informs him that he will single handedly throw Jeff out tonight. Lauren is with Team 3D. She wants to know why 3D made the save for Beer Money last week. Devon says there are two reasons. First, they have a problem with the Brits. They let them into the tournament, and they bit the hand that fed them. Ray says the second reason is that this business is about passing down knowledge and respect. They beat respect into Beer Money, and they are the tag team of the future. But 3D is still the best. Everyone leaves, and Raven is just sitting up against a wall. JB is with JJ, who wants his reaction to Mick Foley. Jeff says he understands the actions of Mick, and he has apologized to Earl repeatedly. He was going to leave willingly, but now he’s going to see what Mick’s made of. Match 1: Alex Shelly & Jay Lethal vs. Team 3D Devon starts off against Shelly. Some holds and counters. Shelly starts hitting some kicks and dodging punches, then hit’s a spinning kick. Devon gets up and nails a power slam, and tags Ray in, who does a side slam while Devon lays down a leg drop. Shelly flips around and tags Lethal in. Ray has an armbar in, but Lethal does some flipping counter, jumps over the ropes and slams his arm onto the ropes, then hit’s a double axe handle. He goes for a flipping elbow, but Ray catches him and german suplexs him. Devon is tagged in, but Lethal dropkicks 3D, and Shelly comes in and they hit a double dropkick on 3D. They attempt a double suicide dive, but hit their respective partners. 3D tries to 3D Lethal, but he grabs the ropes, and Shelly low blows Ray. Lethal and Shelly take advantage for a bit on Ray, but he breaks off and tags in Devon, who proceeds to clean house. Creed and Sabin try to interfere, but Ray throws them out. Devon hit’s the diving head butt, then the British Invasion come out. Ray knocks two out, but Williams hits Devon from behind with the case. Shelly rolls him up. Winners: Shelly & Lethal Match Rating: 8/10 JB is with Mick Foley and like 20 security guys. JB asks if this is what he meant by single-handed. Mick explains he single-handedly selected all of them. They go to get Jeff. JB runs in to warn Jeff, and then Foley and his whole crew show up. JJ too questions the single-handed issue, and Mick asks him to walk away before someone gets hurt. Jarrett says he’ll leave before he does something he really regrets, and warns Foley to re-evaluate his position in TNA, and find out what his real role is. Some promo. JB is with Booker T and Scott Steiner. Booker said something, I couldn’t understand. Steiner comes in and says blood isn’t enough, he’ll break his legs then make him bleed. Match 2: Booker & Steiner vs. Samoa “Taz 3. 0″ Joe (Nation of Violence First Blood) Steiner and Joe start fighting on the ramp. Steiner takes advantage and throws Joe into the rail, hits him with the ring bell, rings the bell on his head, and throws him into two ring posts. They go into the ring, and Joe takes advantage. Joe is throwing punches, kicks, elbows, everything at Steiner. Steiner hit’s a face buster though, and exposes the turnbuckle. Joe reverses the attempt and smashes Steiner into it. They head outside, and Steiner gets a lead pipe. Joe nails a suicide dive, then puts a garbage can on Steiner. He smashes it with the pipe, and Steiner is covered in blood. Hes out. Booker comes out. Joe and Booker are trading shots and kicks along the rail, and throws into the ringpost. Booker throws Joe into the ring steps, and hits multiple knees. He goes for a kick, but nuts himself on the rail. Joe hits him in the stomach with the lead pipe, and Booker starts spitting up blood. Winner: Samoa Joe Match Rating: 9/10 Recap of the match Lauren is with the MEM and the trainers, trying to find out how bad they are. And Raven is just chilling against the wall. Match 3: Shane Douglas vs. AJ Styles Shane comes out repping the black and gold. Way to go. So he’s got a farmer’s tan and he’s pretty flinchy. Holds and counters, then AJ dropkicks Douglas out of the ring. He goes for a suicide dive, but tweaks his ankle. Douglas takes advantage and throws AJ into the rail. AJ tries a springboard into the ring, but Shane blocks it and Styles gets hung up. He and AJ are trading punches, then he nails the Pele, but gets a two count. AJ blocks a belly to belly suplex, and locks in a flying armbar, and Shane taps. Winner: AJ Styles Match Rating: 6/10 Douglas attacks AJ after the match, and nails his belly to belly suplex, and Daniels comes out to make the save. Shane hits him with a towel with handcuffs inside, and cuffs him to the ropes. Shane goes back over to AJ and beats him down, until Joe comes out and he scampers. 7 years promo. Raven chases Lauren into the bathroom who is calling Wilde for help, who gets attacked, even though we don’t see it. Daffney comes out of the bathroom. Wilde is looking for Daffeny, with a lead pipe. She finds her, but Daffney beats her down, while Stevie and Raven and leaning against the wall. Stevie stops her, and tells Taylor that’s all the time we have for this week. JB is with the Beautiful People, and they again make my IQ take a dip, confusing nouns and adjectives. Just shut up. ODB and Deaner training video. JB is with Kurt. He tells Joe that if you want him, you’ve got him. Bring it, and he has something for Joe. Match 4: Tara vs. Madison Rayne This starts off with holds and counters, and Tara locks in a crazy armbar. Rayne tries to take a timeout, and gets dropkicked for it. Tara rolls her in, and lands a slingshot leg drop. Rayne counters with a spinning neck breaker, and gets three two counts. She goes up and misses a missile dropkick. Tara goes on a rampage hitting a snap suplex, a scoop slam, and a standing moonsault, then a Widow’s Peak (such a sick looking move) Winner: Tara Match Rating: 6/10 JB is with EY, asking him what’s gotten into Eric lately. He says that he’s tired of being abused and taken advantage of. JB tells him to stop feeling sorry for himself, and Eric slaps him. SoCal Val is interviewing Daniels. He tells Shane Douglas that if he wants his second chance, at Slammiversary, he’ll put up his roster spot against Douglas. If Shane loses, he has to leave TNA forever. Match 5: Kurt Angle vs. Sting Kurt is also repping the Pens, black and gold. They shake before they start. They start with holds and counters. Kurt knocks Sting down with a shoulder off of the ropes. Sting does the same thing multiple times. Kurt takes a timeout, and so does TNA. Kurt has the advantage when we come back, with a snap suplex.
