World Cup T20 Championship Title and its Impact on Pakistani People
Pakistan since last half a decade is experiencing some traumatic period. The rising threat of Taliban and undue interference of USA in the matters of this country by violating its boundaries and initiating Drone attacks have made situation worse than ever. The repeated acts of terror by blowing schools, suicide bombings and much more have given nothing but extreme fear and mental tension to every citizen of this country. Amid these mind blowing events there came a fresh breeze of happiness. All the people of this country were on their feet, dancing, cheering, singing and displaying the beautiful sign of unity. The reason was fantastic as we got the World Cup of T20 form of Cricket. The way Pakistani team played this tournament and the way they lifted themselves to challenge every super power of the game of Cricket is a story people would discuss for long. For many it is more like a dream but for me it is more like a sign. We need to carry this passion ahead and must show to this world that we are really not a dead nation. We are alive, we are united and we are progressing with sincerity and with true love for our homeland. It is heart warming to see that our team represents our country beautifully. We cannot see that as an individual achievement no matter players like Afridi, Younis Khan, Abdul Razzaq, Umer Gul, Kamran Akmal and Saeed Ajmal were exceptional but no body can perform or give any positive result unless the support of other teammates is not there. We have seen beautifully knitted and coordinated team effort when it was witnessed that everybody played his part amply. People of Pakistan also displayed their sincerity and love for the Country. Streets of Pakistani cities were flooded with people chanting slogans and shouting with passion and expressing their emotions with joy and happiness. It is my sincere wish that our nation would take this passion ahead. We have huge challenges ahead. The foremost challenge is of terrorism which needs to be handled with courage. Pakistani nation should now stand up and with eyes into the eyeballs of the terrorists to crush their skulls and make them run away from our territory. Those who blow Mosques and shrines and kill innocent people and claim that to be Islamic act are truly our enemies and we should back our army and help them to wipe them off completely from our soil. This is to be done and this target must be achieved as quickly as possible. Insha Allah, Pakistan would soon rise from the ashes of these crisis and would again become one of the peaceful and beautiful countries of the whole world
